Jon has written up a little about this at Smart Mobs Meanwhile, there are reports that there are around 5,000 people protesting the delegates as they arrive at the convention. On my cellphone, I received the message, “R U sending txt alerts? If you can, tell people to leave midtown ASAP. Are any of you bloggers at the Tank getting reports of police running into people with their scooters, using pepper spray, or other brutal methods? I'm hearing about it on the less trust worthy parts of the net, but haven't heard or seen anything by you guys.
