Decorated Viet Nam veteran on "Going Upriver"

Britt Blaser, a much decorated Viet Nam war veteran, has written an excellent essay over on his blog. It was triggered by his experience watching the new film "Going Upriver". This is about as strong a rebuttal of the Sinclair broadcasting corporation's blatantly political plan to broadcast an anti-Kerry film shortly before the elections as we could ask for.

http://www.blaserco.com/blogs/2004/10/10.html :

"If you pay attention, you'll conclude that John Kerry is smarter, tougher,
better informed and more patriotic than you and me. And that George Bush is
not.

Pick one."
