		<description>Great! I read about his great work &#039;The Lexus and the Olive Tree&#039;, really stimulating and gripping. It&#039;s true that the Lexus stands for material civilization and consumption cultures while the olive tree, &#039;organic social groups&#039; on behalf of the traditional agricultural world. But through this two-facet lens of the &#039;western&#039; center what cannot be figured out is the intriguing yet convoluted internal conflicts in globalization, which was then curtailed for &quot;westernized&quot; and &#039;americanized&#039;.</description>
